Friendly Advice
Our friendly and highly qualified team are more than happy to help you with advice regarding your pet whether it be questions about preventative measures such as vaccinations, desexing, grooming or diet or concerns you may have about your pet’s health or behaviour.
We encourage desexing of your dogs, cat, rabbits and ferrets. There are a number of health, social, and financial benefits to your pet such as:
Reduced risk of some malignant cancers
Prevention of infection of the uterus
Reduction in the risk of prostatic disease and hernias in male dogs.
Reduction in territorial behaviour i.e urine marking
Reduction in noisy calling behaviour
Reduction in wandering . This can lead to an accident, being lost or harming native wildlife
Avoids the cost of serious medical disease as listed above
Prevention of the cost associated with pregnancy and birth
Desexing entitles you to a discount on your council registration fees.
In July, we join with the National Desexing Network in providing discounted desexing. For further information please contact the clinic as conditions do apply.
As there are so many sources of advice available to pet owners, it is reassuring to know that accurate friendly advice is only a phone call (or email) away.
